East West Auto Loans Client Information Update FAQ


What is the client information update program for?
We aim to keep our records up-to-date, accurate, and complete to better serve our auto loan clients. The updated information you will send will help us continue to safeguard your account from identity theft. In addition, this exercise is part of the Bankís initiative to comply with the requirements of BSP Circular No 706, Series of 2011 pertaining to Updated Anti-Money Laundering Rules and Regulations.

What information do I need to provide?
We only need your basic information, which includes your contact numbers and personal identification. This is to ascertain your identity and allow us to reach you should there be certain information we need to confirm with you. Rest assured that your information will be kept secured and confidential.

Please also submit the following:

  1. Any valid government-issued ID with picture and signature (i.e., Driverís License, Passport, SSS ID, etc.), AND
  2. Any proof of billing under your name with your current address (i.e. Phone Bill, Utilities Billing, etc.).

We acknowledge that we may have some of this information already, but we would like to ensure that we have your most recent information on record.

What if there are no changes to my contact information?
We request that you still fill up the contact information table even if there are no changes in your basic information.

How can I update my information?
You may email us or call our Customer Service Hotline to update your information.

You can either email us the requested information or fill up the Client Information Update Form. Please send this to updateinfo@eastwestbanker.com.

Simply call our 24-hour Customer Service Hotline at 888-1700 or 1-800-1888-8600 Domestic Toll Free.

Until when can I update my information?
We request that you complete your account information update on or before 31 October 2016.

How will I know my information has been updated?
We will automatically update our records with your submitted information. Should there be important information that we need to validate with you, rest assured that we will contact you immediately.
