Promo Mechanics

  1. The Promotion is open to all EastWest Mastercard credit cardholders (“Cardolders”) in good credit standing.*
  2. Promo Period is from January 15 to March 31, 2025 while claiming of prizes will be from January 15 until May 31, 2025.
  3. A minimum P5,000 single-receipt straight/installment transaction at any SM Store Metro Manila branch or P3,000 single-receipt straight/P5,000 single-receipt installment transaction at any SM Store provincial branch gives cardholders a chance to instantly win P10,000 or P500 SM Gift Pass.
  4. There will be 250 winners of P10,000 worth of SM Gift Pass and 2,500 winners of P500 SM Gift Pass nationwide.
  5. Upon completing the minimum single-receipt Mastercard transaction, a stub will be generated after the qualified tape receipt indicating if the customer has won P10,000 or P500 worth of SM Gift Pass
  6. Promo is valid for in-store and Personal Shopper card-present transactions.
  7. Promotion is only available in SM Store. Transactions made in other SM Retail Affiliates are not qualified to join the promo and win any prize.
  8. Transactions paid via iPay88 / email billing are excluded from the promo, and cardholders whose accounts are suspended or terminated are not eligible to join the promotion.
  9. Prize is non-convertible to cash.
  10. Purchase of cell cards, phone cards, SM Gift Cards, SM Gift Pass, Concert Tickets, Returns, Bills Payment Products, and other products at the Customer Service Counter are not qualified for this promotion.
  11. Splitting of transactions is prohibited and shall not be allowed for redemption.
  12. SM Store, Mastercard, and EastWest reserve the right to disclose and publish names, photos, and other information of the winners in any mode or manner as they deem appropriate.
  13. Employees of SM Store, SM Retail Inc., Mastercard, and its accredited advertising agencies and suppliers, and their family relatives up to 2nd degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from participating in the promotion.
  14. Claiming of Prizes:

    a. For in-store transactions – the winner (Cardholder/s) must present the following documents at the Customer Service Counter of the SM Store where the transaction was made. The Customer Service Manager must verify the winning transaction prior to awarding prizes to the cardholder:

    • Original Winning Transaction Receipt
    • Original Winning Charge Slip
    • Original Winning Stub
    • Winning Mastercard used
    • Valid ID
       

    b. For Personal Shopper transactions – the SM Store branch rider/designated driver will release/deliver the Prize to the winner.

    Note: If an authorized representative will claim the prize, the following must be presented:

    • Original/Photocopy Valid ID of the winner
    • Original Valid ID of the Representative
    • Original Winning Transaction Receipt
    • Original Winning Stub
    • Original Winning Charge Slip
       

    c. Winner/s must surrender and sign the original winning stub.

    d. The Transaction receipt and winning charge slip should be marked/stamped “CLAIMED” upon release of Prize.

    e. Cardholder/s can only claim his/her Prize at the same branch of the SM Store where transaction was made.

    f. SM Store, Mastercard, and EastWest will not replace lost or damaged prizes caused by the winner (cardholder).

  15. The Cardholder's EastWest Credit Card account must be active and current at all times. In the event that the Cardholder's EastWest Credit Card is suspended, cancelled, or not renewed, or should the Cardholder fail to make payments, breach or violate the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of EastWest Credit Cards, the remaining unpaid installment amount, as well as the entire outstanding balance of the Cardholder's EastWest Credit Card account, shall immediately become due and demandable.
  16. In case of partial payment by the Cardholder of the installment amount, the unpaid balance shall incur the usual finance charges imposed on revolving balances in accordance with the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of EastWest Credit Cards.
  17. If the Cardholder pays the installment amount in full per month but has an outstanding or revolving balance on his/her previous/other purchases or installment availments, his/her EastWest Credit Card account shall likewise incur finance charges.
  18. In case of pre-termination, the Cardholder agrees to pay an Installment Pre-termination Processing Fee equivalent to 5% of the remaining principal balance or Php500, whichever is higher.
  19. Terms and Conditions for Merchant Installment indicated in the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of EastWest Credit Cards shall apply.
  20. By joining this promo, the Cardholder confirms that he/she has read, understood, and agreed to the mechanics of the promo, including, but not limited to, these terms and conditions.

  22. In case of disputes related to the promo, the decision of EastWest shall be conclusive. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder’s eligibility for the Promo shall be resolved by EastWest and The SM Store, with approval from DTI.
     

* Cardholders in good credit standing are those whose accounts are not delinquent, not under investigation due to suspected fraudulent activities, those whose EastWest credit cards are not reported lost or stolen, and those who have not, otherwise, violated any of the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of EastWest Credit Cards.
