Promo Mechanics
1. The Cash Max Promo 2.0 (“Promo”) will run from March to April 30, 2025 (“Promo Period”) in all EastWest Bank (“EW”) stores nationwide.
2. Promo is exclusive to all New-to-Bank business (“Qualified clients”).
3. Qualified clients may enjoy a special deposit interest rate of up to 4.5% p.a. or a maximum amount of Php 112,500 (“Promo Rewards”) based on their incremental Month-to-Date Average Daily Balance (“MTD-ADB”) growth in fresh funds and eligible transactions for the month (refer to table below).
Fresh funds refer to funds that are not withdrawn/sourced from any EastWest account/s.
MTD-ADB refers to the sum of daily ending balances in a given period divided by the number of days in that period.
4. The Promo Rewards are in addition to the 0.125% p.a. regular interest the Peso account is entitled to earn.
5. Qualified clients shall meet the required incremental MTD-ADB growth of Php 1,000,000 within the Promo Period to qualify for the Promo Rewards.
6. The Promo Rewards shall be credited to the nominated regular Peso account of the qualified client within 30 banking days from the end of the Promo Period and is subject to 20% withholding tax.
7. Only the regular Peso account/s is/are included in the computation of the required incremental MTD-ADB growth. Super Saver, and Super Checking are excluded.
8. The account/s must remain active throughout the Promo Period and at the time of granting the Promo Rewards. EW shall not pay the Promo Rewards whether in full, in part or pro-rated.
9. EW and Filinvest related company accounts, Treasurer In-Trust-For accounts, and accounts with restrictions are not eligible to join the promo.
10. All new account openings are subject to EW’s existing policies and procedures.
