The promos are open to EastWest Mastercard credit cardholders whose accounts are active, current, and in good credit standing. Cardholders in good credit standing are those with EastWest Mastercard credit cards which are not reported lost or stolen, whose accounts are not delinquent, not under investigation due to suspected fraud, and those who have not violated any of the Terms and Conditions governing the Issuance and Use of EastWest Mastercard credit cards.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Discounts off Avis standard rates and retail rates are valid at participating countries/regions, but level of discounts vary from country/region to country/region, due to availability and time of year.

• North Asia: China, Guam, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, South Korea and Taiwan;

• Southeast Asia and South Asia: India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam; and

• Pacific: Australia, Fiji, French Polynesia, New Caledonia and New Zealand.

2. The offer cannot be exchanged for cash or used in conjunction with other on-going promotions/offers, coupons/vouchers and loyalty/privilege cards.

3. Discount offer applicable to Time, Mileage and Insurance only.

4. Discounts are not applicable to domestic rentals where rentals take place in the same country/region as cardholders’ country/region of residence.

5. Discounts may apply to all rental length (weekend, daily, weekly rates).

6. All discount offers are subject to mandatory surcharges for the full rental duration.

7. Minimum advance booking period of 24 hours applies.

8. The Offers are valid on all car groups, subject to availability at the time of booking.

9. The Offers’ restrictions may apply at certain times in certain locations.

10. For complimentary car upgrade, voucher must be downloaded, printed and presented to the counter staff upon car pick-up.

11. Prices vary by season and by Avis location.

12. The offers cannot be exchanged for cash or used in conjunction with other on-going promotions/offers, coupons/vouchers and loyalty/privilege cards.

13. The offer is only valid when booking via this website or if enrolling into Avis President’s Club/Avis Preferred whereby your Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) number will be added to your profile in order for you to redeem your benefits through other booking channels as long as you sign in to your profile.

14. Only valid when your Mastercard AWD number has been quoted or added through Avis President’s Club/Avis Preferred enrolment process on this website.

15. If any other AWD number is present in the rental booking you will not receive these benefits.

16. If any other AWD number is present in a customer’s Avis President’s Club/Avis Preferred profile and this is used in the rental booking benefits will be awarded and once booked this cannot be reversed. 

17. In order for the discount to be applicable at the time of rental, please ensure you pay using your EastWest Mastercard credit card and show the card to the rental agent at the time of collection. Failure to do so will result in the discount and benefits being removed as part of the reservation.
