Promo Mechanics
- The Promo is open to all Principal EastWest Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Platinum and World Mastercard Cardholders (“Cardholders”) in good credit standing.
- Promo period is from October 15 to December 31, 2024.
- Principal cardholders must register once through EastWest’s ESTA web bot at www.ewlend.com/2024EWSIAKFMCCrossBorderRebate within the promo period to participate in the promo.
Cardholders who use their qualified EastWest Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Mastercard for cross-border/overseas face to face spend and reach the minimum accumulated spend requirement (“Qualified Spend”) during the promo period will receive a cash credit the following month.
a. Combined Principal and Supplementary accumulated spend requirement and corresponding cash credits:ACCUMULATED SPEND REQUIREMENT CASH CREDIT P50,000 to P99,999 P2,500 P100,000 to P249,999 P5,000 P250,000 and above P10,000 b. Transaction/s must be made from October 15 to December 31, 2024.
c. The Cash Credit earned based on the accumulated spend will be posted in the Principal Cardholder’s Statement of Account (SOA) within thirty (30) working days after the promo period.- The following transactions are not qualified:
a. Online/Mail Order/Telephone Order (MOTO) transactions
b. International Cash Advances
c. Trading Services and Remittance transactions
d. Transactions from Casino, and/or merchants engaged in Gambling - All transactions made in foreign currencies/merchants or those processed by foreign acquirers shall be automatically converted to Philippine Peso at the Mastercard currency conversion rate on the day the transactions are processed, plus a Foreign Currency Conversion Fee which shall be comprised of Mastercard's Assessment Fee and EastWest's Service Fee.
- The EastWest Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Mastercard must be active and in good credit standing* at the time of posting of the Cash Credit.
- Earned rebate will be posted as a credit or payment for purchases or any outstanding balance on the principal cardholder’s account, which will be reflected on his/her SOA. It is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged to cash and in-kind.
- The promo cannot be availed in conjunction with other promotional offers of EastWest credit cards (including, but not limited to rebates, discounts, spend anywhere, activation promos, etc.). If found to have multiple redemption, EastWest has the right to reverse the rebate that has been credited to the principal cardholder’s account. It has the sole discretion in qualifying the transaction/s of a cardholder based on the mechanics of the Promo. Once EastWest determines that the transaction/s is qualified for the Promo, the same transaction/s can no longer be used for another promo, regardless if it meet/s the criteria of the other promo.
- EastWest reserves the right to reverse or adjust the posted rebate if the qualified transaction/s are disputed or cancelled on a later date, or if the transaction is found to be invalid or fraudulent, or a reversal of entry is made on any of the qualified transaction, or if there is erroneous posting of the rebate, or if the transaction was used to register or redeem from another ongoing promo of the Bank.
- In case of dispute in respect to the Promo including, but not limited to, the cardholder’s eligibility, coverage periods and fulfillment, the decision of EastWest, with the concurrence of DTI shall be final. All questions or disputes must be raised by the cardholder to EastWest within sixty (60) calendar days from the posting of the rebate to the principal cardholder credit card account.
- By joining this Promo, the Cardholder confirms that s/he has read, understood, and agreed to the mechanics of the Promo as well as the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of EastWest Credit Cards.

*Cardholders in good credit standing are those whose accounts are not delinquent nor under investigation due to suspected fraudulent activities, those whose EastWest Credit Cards are not reported lost or stolen and those who have not, otherwise, violated any of the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of EastWest Credit Cards.
