Up to JPY 2,000 Cashback in Japan

The promo is open to EastWest JCB credit cardholders whose accounts are active, current, and in good credit standing. Cardholders in good credit standing are those with EastWest JCB credit cards which are not reported lost or stolen, whose accounts are not delinquent, not under investigation due to suspected fraud, and those who have not violated any of the Terms and Conditions governing the Issuance and Use of EastWest JCB credit cards.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Cardholders can get the following cashback at Mitsui Outlet Park, LaLaport, and DiverCity Tokyo Plaza in Japan:

• 1,000 yen cashback when you spend over 50,000 yen in total

• 2,000 yen cashback when you spend over 80,000 yen in total

2. Total amount includes spending at multiple stores. Only credit card transactions are eligible. The maximum cashback per cardmember is JPY 2,000.

3. During the promotion period, cashback is limited to once per card.

4. This offer may not be used in conjunction with any other offer or service, except as specifically permitted by JCB or the merchant.

5. The cashback amount will be calculated based on the final settlement amount paid, including taxes and any other special offers that may be used in conjunction with it.

6. The right to receive this offer may not be transferred to another person or exchanged for cash.

7. Some products and services may not be eligible for this promotion.

8. The details and terms of this promotion are subject to change without prior notice. The promotion may also be terminated without prior notice, for example, if the cashback budget limit is reached.

9. Registration is not required to participate in this promotion.

10. Transactions that qualify for the promotion will be counted based on the date of the transaction. However, transactions that take a long time to process sales and for which sales information is not received within a certain period of time may not be counted.

11. Cashback will be paid through the card issuer you used. The timing of the cashback depends on the issuer.

12. Only transactions settled in JPY are eligible for cashback.

13. Amounts less than the significant digits of the currency in question will be rounded down.

14.  The exchange rate at which a transaction is settled may be different from the rate at which cashback was awarded. It depends on the rate at which cashback was awarded by the bank.

15.  Cashback may not be awarded in the following cases:

• If the transaction of goods or services has been changed, cancelled, or refunded, or if it is deemed to be fraudulent

• If you cancel your card or do not set up an account by the cashback date

• If the card number is changed due to a card switch or reissue before the cashback date

• If your membership is invalid at the time of cashback

• If the payment cannot be processed during the promotion period due to system failure or other reasons

• If the payment is made through a third-party institution instead of directly at the participating merchant

17. In the event that a cardmember violates these terms and conditions or causes damage to JCB International Co., Ltd. or a third party through fraudulent or illegal acts in connection with the participation in this promotion, JCB International Co., Ltd. and MITSUI OUTLET PARK, LaLaport, DiverCity Tokyo plaza may suspend or cancel the special offer or other sales transactions, in which case all conditions for granting special offers accumulated up to the time of cancellation shall be retroactively forfeited.
