Php 2,000 Rebate at SM Retail Stores

The promo is open to EastWest JCB Gold and Platinum credit cardholders whose accounts are active, current, and in good credit standing. Cardholders in good credit standing are those with EastWest JCB Gold and Platinum credit cards which are not reported lost or stolen, whose accounts are not delinquent, not under investigation due to suspected fraud, and those who have not violated any of the Terms and Conditions governing the Issuance and Use of EastWest JCB Gold and Platinum credit cards.

Promo Period:
Every 19th to 21st of November 2024 to January 2025.

Terms and Conditions:
Cardholder must register once through www.ewlend.com/2024JCBSMRetailPromo within the promotion period to the qualify.

Earning of Rebate

1. Cardholder must use his/her valid EastWest JCB Gold or Platinum credit card for a minimum single-receipt or cumulative straight purchase of Php 10,000 at the participating SM Retail Affiliates to earn the Php 2,000 fixed rebate per promo run (refer to table above).
2. The rebate applies to straight purchases only. Any transaction amount is qualified to meet the required Php 10,000 accumulated spend.
3. Online and straight/retail purchases at participating SM Affiliate Stores must be made during the promo period. The following are excluded in the promo:

• Installment/Buy Now, Pay Later program
• Purchases inside SM Store

4. All qualified transactions of the principal cardholder and its supplementary cardholder/s are computed separately and cannot be combined to meet the single/accumulated spend requirement and cannot be combined to meet the single/accumulated spend requirement.

Crediting of the Earned Php 2,000 Rebate

1. Rebate to be awarded to the EastWest JCB Principal and Supplementary Cardholders are computed separately and will be credited and posted to Principal cardholder’s account on or before Nov. 26, 2024 and Feb. 27, 2025 for the first and second runs respectively.
2. The qualified cardholder will be notified via SMS/Viber and/or email to the registered mobile number and/or e-mail on his/her JCB Credit Card account within fifteen (15) banking days from credit of rebate.
3. The credit card account must be active, current (without incurring past due/delinquency) and of good credit standing* during the Promo Period and at the time of crediting of the rebate, otherwise, the rebate earned shall be forfeited.
4. Earned rebate will be posted as a credit or payment for purchases or any outstanding balance on the principal cardholder’s account, which will be reflected on his/her Statement of Account (SOA). It is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged to cash and in-kind.
5. The rebate cannot be availed in conjunction with other promotional offers of EastWest (including, but not limited to rebates, discounts, spend anywhere, activation promos, etc.). If found to have multiple redemption, EastWest shall have the right to reverse the rebate that has been credited to the principal cardholder’s account.  EastWest have the sole discretion in qualifying the transactions of a cardholder based on the mechanics of the Promo. Once EastWest determines that the transaction/s is qualified to the Promo, the same transaction/s can no longer be used for another promo, regardless if it meet/s the criteria of the other promo.
6. EastWest reserves the right to reverse or adjust the posted rebate if the qualified transaction/s are disputed or cancelled on a later date, or if the transaction is found to be invalid or fraudulent, or a reversal of entry is made on any of the qualified transaction, or if there is erroneous posting of the rebate, or if the transaction was used to register or redeem from another ongoing promo of EastWest.
7. In case of dispute in respect to the Promo including, but not limited to, the cardholder’s eligibility, coverage periods and fulfilment, the decision of JCB and EastWest, with the concurrence of DTI shall be final.   All questions or disputes must be raised by the cardholder to EastWest Bank within sixty (60) calendar days from the posting of the rebate to the principal cardholder credit card account.
8. Any amendment in the terms and conditions is subject to DTI approval.
9. The use of the EastWest JCB Credit Card in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of the EastWest JCB Credit Card.
